My Approach
My expertise lies in working with anxiety disorders, stress, burnout, sleep difficulties, and ADHD-related coping and challenges. I also work deeply with existential concerns, parental and early childhood trauma, communication difficulties in relationships, and helping individuals build assertiveness, understand behavioral patterns, and work through emotions such as shame and guilt.
Having a background in Neuropsychology lets me provide psychotherapy that is informed by principles of neuroscience. An understanding of the way our brain has evolved to function allows deep insights for work in therapy, for both the therapist and the client.
I believe in focusing on the problem as a whole, and not just on the presenting symptoms, acknowledging the equal role of body, mind and environment in overall health. My practice is deeply rooted in trauma-informed care. I am also dedicated to providing a safe, queer-affirmative space for all my clients. My approach is eclectic, integrative, and humanistic. I draw upon modalities such as Schema Therapy, a parts approach, Motivational Interviewing, and Existential Therapy to best support your unique journey.
About Me
Professional Experience
I currently work with Dr. Advait Kulkarni at HSR Neuro Clinic and at Aster RV hospital, JP Nagar in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as a Neuropsychologist and Psychotherapist.
I see clients and patients in both outpatient and hospital-based settings, providing psychological counselling to adults across a range of emotional and relational concerns.
Alongside counselling, my work in these settings also includes neuropsychological assessment and cognitive evaluation, particularly in cases involving memory concerns, cognitive changes, and suspected neurocognitive or neurological conditions. This allows me to integrate psychological understanding with cognitive and medical contexts when required.
